Meet Our Team

Diane Riley

Co-Creator

Diane has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2006 and a Reiki Master since 2009.

She suffered from bulimia for seven years in her mid-teens and early twenties. Diane was able to heal herself from the inside out from a daily practice of positive words and attention which incorporated a daily practice of gratitude, love, acceptance, facing and healing the past, as well as forgiving herself and others. By showing up each day and doing the work of re-wiring her sub-conscious beliefs, she was able to heal from her past which in-turn shaped her future.

For the last fifteen years Diane has deeply explored the internal belief patterns (that we all have) and their connections with our external life through her personal and professional experiences. She feels that she now understands more of the complex connections between our body/mind/spirit and emotional ways of expressing ourselves. Diane still incorporates a daily practice of self love and healing that pulls from everything she has learned so far.

Diane is over joyed for the opportunity to create products that empower children all over the world, and to get them to focus on the love and positivity within themselves….before they become adults.

Keith Capstick

Co-Creator

I have always wanted to be a parent but never knew what it meant to be a dad. After we had our children, I felt a strong connection to provide the best tools to allow our son Ethan and daughter Rayah, to grow with all the confidence and wisdom that they need.

I always strive to connect with children on their level and bring out the most fun in every situation. These books are a bridge to share that fun and joy to everyone who reads them, hoping to put smiles on children’s faces.

Tammy Capstick

Illustrator

I began my artistic journey back in 2000 as a student at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Through the intervening years, I honed my skills with portraiture and commissioned work in watercolor and oil, as well as public art pieces and murals.

A passionate reader and student of literature, I've always had enormous respect for the power of the written word. As a mother who has spent countless hours wandering through intricate, quirky, wonderful picture books worlds, I've come to regard the art of illustration as a sort of subtle wizardry. Needless to say, I was thrilled at the prospect of providing the illustrations for this wholesome and heartfelt project.

I currently live and work in an old house by a river in rural New Brunswick.
